<p>March is shaping up to be a very theatrical month, with three different plays of mine in three different states!</p>



<p>First, in anticipation of the <a href="https://athenaprojectarts.org/2019-plays-in-progress-series/">Athena Project&#8217;s Plays in Progress Series</a>, on March 9, the new <a href="https://athenaprojectarts.org/read-rant/?fbclid=IwAR2yPorvPct5HpsfO154NHTcuNOlAuuNVB5E0TluqPQ9voIRzsQWnDXzGlY">Read &amp; Rant Book Club</a> in Denver, CO, will be reading and discussing my play THE SNAKE GOD OF FIJI (A HEDDA GABLER PREQUEL) along with Henrik Ibsen&#8217;s classic play. </p>



<p>Then, THE OCEAN DEEP will be workshopped through METLab with the <a href="https://marylandensemble.org">Maryland Ensemble Theatre</a> in Frederick, MD. <p>Finally, the <a href="http://www.campfiretheatrefestival.com">Campfire Theatre Festival</a> is bringing THE FERMI PARADOX back to Boise, ID to be a part of the Treefort Music Festival. <p>THE SNAKE GOD OF FIJI (A HEDDA GABLER PREQUEL) and THE OCEAN DEEP are both plays I developed through <a href="http://www.thevagrancy.com">The Vagrancy</a>&#8216;s new play development program, and I started working on THE FERMI PARADOX through the <a href="https://theatricum.com/seedlings/">Theatricum Botanicum Seedlings</a>, both in Los Angeles. To the surprise of all the sea creatures in the lab, Marie inspires Doris to embark upon a study of the lab&#8217;s newest addition, a rare dragonfish. But with her attention focused on uncovering the secrets of her unusual specimen, Doris fails to realize that Marie has a number of dark secrets of her own. And as these secrets float to the surface, the boundaries between who is doing the studying and who is being studied start to disappear.</span></span></i></p>
