1) StageSceneLA recognized my work on 2016’s FRIENDS IN TRANSIENT PLACES with Fresh Produce’d LA and awarded me a Scenie for Outstanding Direction of a Drama (Intimate Theater)! Not only was it great to get the kudos, but it also brought back a lot of wonderful memories of the fantastic cast and crew of that show. It was a director’s dream to get to work with so much talent!

2) A short play I wrote, ROAD TRIP, was part of an event the Pasadena Museum of California Art hosted for ArtNight Pasadena on October 13. Produced by Lisa Dring, it featured a collection of performance pieces that all took place in or around cars. I lucked out and was able to work with Director Miranda Stewart and Actors Alfredo Trueba and Nicolette Acosta, which was basically the dream team for this piece! Here are Alfredo and Nicolette, as Sam and Riley, discussing the esoteric nature of road trips:
