A few weeks ago, I got to go back to Creede, CO with the HBMG Foundation for the National Winter Playwrights Retreat. I’d attended back in 2016, and this year the Foundation organized a reunion for participants from previous sessions, meaning that it was a chance to reconnect with the wonderful artists I’d met three years ago. Needless to say, that was awesome–and on top of that, I finished a draft of a new play! The working title is MEANER CREATURES KINGS, and it’s a retelling of Shakespeare’s RICHARD III set in a corporate office. Hopefully there will be more to share as this play develops in the future!
