I just got back from a week in Creede, CO, where I was lucky enough to get to participate in the 2016 National Winter Playwrights’ Retreat. The week is sponsored by the HBMG Foundation, Creede Repertory Theatre and the Human Stage, and during my time there I met an incredible group of fellow writers, actors and generally creative people!

Creede is a tiny town in the Rockies, but the beautiful setting and the theater draw thousands of people to Mineral County over the summer. However, I thought it was pretty beautiful in the winter, too:

The week was full of lovely scenery, great conversations and readings of some excellent work by the other writers. Oh, and I also worked on a new play that I’m pretty excited about, too! I highly recommend this program to any playwrights out there who are in the process of developing new work.
